1. Warranty Scope & Limitations
Mejortec ("we," "us," "our") extends this Limited Warranty solely to the original purchaser of a new Mejortec product ("Product") from an authorized reseller. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to Products purchased and used within the contiguous United States. Valid proof of purchase and/or delivery from an authorized source is mandatory for all service requests.
2. Warranty Grant & Exclusions
Subject to the strict limitations and exclusions herein, Mejortec warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as defined by Mejortec's published guidelines, for the specified Warranty Period.
This warranty expressly does not apply to, and Mejortec disclaims any liability for:
- Consumables and Normal Degradation: This includes, but is not limited to, batteries, which have a finite lifespan and whose gradual loss of capacity is considered normal wear and tear.
- User-Abuse & Unauthorized Service: Any damage resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, modification, improper installation, use of third-party parts/accessories, or service performed by anyone not authorized by Mejortec.
- External Causes: Damage from acts of nature, power surges, improper electrical supply, environmental conditions (e.g., sand, dust, moisture), or any other external causes beyond our control.
- Cosmetic Issues: Any cosmetic damage that does not impair core functionality.
- Software & Data: Any software, even if bundled with the hardware, or any loss or corruption of data.
- Gray Market Products: Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including online marketplaces not expressly authorized by Mejortec.
3. Warranty Period & Remedies
The Warranty Period commences upon the date of original retail purchase.
We tailor our warranty coverage to match the performance and design of each product line. To ensure you have the exact details for your product of interest, we recommend speaking with your Mejortec sales representative who can provide the specific warranty information.
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Mejortec's sole and exclusive obligation, at its sole discretion, is to:
a) Repair the Product using new or refurbished parts, or
b) Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or similar functionality.
Any repaired or replaced Product is warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period and does not extend a new warranty.
4. Disclaimers & Liability Limitation
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MEJORTEC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
MEJORTEC'S TOTAL LIABILITY, FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT, SHALL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. MEJORTEC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR COSTS OF SERVICE.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
5. Obtaining Service & Customer Responsibilities
To obtain service, you must:
- Contact Mejortec Support for troubleshooting and to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Provide a valid proof of purchase and Product serial number.
- If a return is required, you are responsible for packaging the Product securely in its original or equivalent packaging to prevent damage in transit. Failure to do so may void the warranty claim.
- Mejortec will provide a prepaid shipping label for warranty returns. For non-warranty or out-of-warranty service, all shipping and handling charges will be your responsibility.
